"European Church Partnership" - the book and how to get hold of it

The book was published by "Christianity and the Future of Europe" (CAFE) in 1994 and was the result of a conversation between Robin Blount and Canon John Nurser, then Director of CAFE, at the German Kirchentag in 1993. There is a great deal of twinning activity between churches all across Europe, but certainly in the U.K., very little by way of co-ordination and almost nothing to help people get started. When he arrived in south-east Kent to take up the appointment as Industrial Chaplain in a region with clear cross-border connections, Robin convened a few meetings of church people engaged in twinning, and as a result he has built up a reservoir of good ideas and good practice from the experience of those who took part. So the book is, as the subtitle states, a User's Guide - an attempt to suggest an organised approach to Church Twinning with a useful library of resources for worship.
